ADEA Screening Event

Once per quarter, ADEA conducts a dental screening and oral hygiene instruction (OHI) event for the community in conjunction with students from the School of Nursing. Events are typically held at a local homeless shelter. The purpose of our screenings is twofold: first, we are educating the underserved community of the Bay Area regarding oral hygiene and the need for dental care. In addition, we are also educating them regarding Denti-Cal eligibility and benefits.
